Pausing to allow the horse to drink in a pond.

This was halfway through the ride we took across hundreds of acres of a rolling ranch.

We ended up at the head of a beautiful waterfall where we left the horses behind

and climbed by rope down rocky cliffs to the base of the falls.

There, we played in the pool below and climbed behind the falls and had a yummy lunch.

We hated to leave. On the way back we galloped the horses

in order to reach the stables before sunset.
