Havasupai Falls and Pool HAVASU FALLS

The trek back up the canyon walls was actually fun. We were refreshed after the Mooney Falls visit and hated to leave but thinking of revisiting this beautiful sight was such a special treat to look forward to. Even the hike and horseback ride seemed shorter and we said farewell to every vision with respect and thankfulness for the experience.
When we arrived back here, the sun was beginning to move behind the high canyon walls, so we took a few pictures, and once again headed for the water. This time it was harder to muster up the courage to go in because we were not as burnt out from the heat and a good deal of the pool was in the shadows. There were still about thirty people visiting this pool and it made us realize how lucky we had been to have Mooney Falls to ourselves.
There were all sorts of rock formations in the pool area, creating some very beautiful terracing water flows. We stayed as long as possible until finally our time was up and we had to return back to the Village. On the way, the sunset colors on the walls and rock formations were dazzling and with the heat subsiding, it was truly an enchanting and unforgettable ride.
Thanks again to our guide who made this trip so very special.
