Let Cathy Waiamau add a special touch to your very special occasion. As a gifted soprano vocalist, Cathy has been providing “goozebumps” for island weddings and dinner receptions for over two decades. From an intimate duo garden ceremony to a five piece “mini concert” dinner performance, Cathy will mix it up with adult contemporary songs, traditional Hawaiian, Christian and even some “roaring twenties” stuff!
“Providing the right ambiance through song, for your very special occasion, will be an honor and a privilege.” Cathy Waiamau

PROFILE
Local artist Cathy Waiamau and her husband/producer Alton Waiamau are the co-founders of Al & Cat’s Entertainment, a Honolulu-based company. In June 1999, the duo released their first collection of songs on compact disc entitled, “Reminiscence.” Since then, the Waiamaus have received rave reviews by the local media, including Jon Berger of the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and Eddie Sherman of Midweek Magazine.
Born and raised on O’ahu, Cathy Waiamau developed her passion for singing at the age of five. Her talent flourished as a member of the Kamehameha Schools Concert Glee Club under the teaching of the late Zillah Young, a member of the world-renowned Metropolitan Opera. Cathy cites her musical inspirations as the legendary Barbra Streisand, pop icon Donna Summer, and most recently, gospel singer Sandi Patti. Although she has performed professionally in the Islands for many years, the majority of the performances have been for private functions.
