Hi, welcome to the guitar section of my page.
I taught myself to play the acoustic back around '98 or so, and it's
been a very fulfilling hobby for me. Since I picked up the guitar
at about the same time I picked up J-Pop, most of the songs I've
learned to play are J-Pop. I've listed some of my favorites on this
page for your browsing pleasure. Enjoy.
-Chords: If you're just starting out with the
guitar, then click here
for a list of all twelve basic chords, their sevenths, minors, and
minor sevenths. Any additional chords you'll need to play a song
will be noted on the TAB itself.
-Using a capo: A capo is a little clip
that you can attach to the fret of a guitar to change the key of
the strings. I often make use of it to reduce the number of barre
chords I'll have to play, especially for finger-picking songs.
For the TABs on this page, when it says to capo a fret, attach
the capo at the noted location, and form the chords listed
as you normally would (ie, if you're capoed on the first fret,
and it says play "G," then play [320033], even though the
chord you're playing will actually be a "G#"). If you insist
on playing without a capo, then adjust the key accordingly, by
raising it a half-step for every fret capoed.
-Printing: The TABs are in standard TXT
files, arranged for ease of printing. For best results, use a fixed
font (like Courier New), with a font size of 10. I also suggest
a 1 inch border on the sides, and no larger than a 0.7 inch border,
top and bottom.
