Driving directions to Windward Community College
There is more than one way to get to Windward Community College from
Honolulu. One way is taking the Likelike Highway. Take the exit marked
for route 83 - Kahekili Highway. The exit will then cross Likelike
Highway, then another street called Kulukeoe, then turn left into
Kea'ahala Road and just go to the end of the road. The building at the
end of the road is the main administration building. Turn left at the
stop sign, there is another building to the left of the administration
building, when you past that building, take the right turn and
find parking on that street.
The launch site is the empty field on the left hand
side of the road.
If you miss the route 83 exit on the Likelike Highway, you can continue on
until you reach the intersection of Likelike, Kamehameha Highway and
Kaneohe Bay Drive with the Windward City Shopping Center on the far
corner, turn left on to Kamehameha Highway, after you pass the fire
station on the left hand side, the next intersection would be for
Kea'ahala Road, turn left here and go all the way. This would be the way
if you traveled on the Pali Highway.
If you use the H-3 freeway take exit 9 which would be the Likelike
Highway.
