With the zillions of stunts Mr. Chan has performed, I have decided to make a table showing the body parts that he has injured for the sake of making his films. Call him "crazy". Call him "stupid". But he is the only major international movie star that is willing to entertain his audience with the most extreme and dangerous physical feats. Someone's gotta do it...but the price is paid in red blood and black & blue bruises.

Neck Tweaked? A Nice Guy According to many Chan interviews, he was playing around when he did a stunt which involved jumping off a two-story level. He landed and heard a "click" sound. His neck has been hurting for the rest of the film shooting.
This movie has been not been shown yet (8/96). It is scheduled to show in Hong Kong sometime early '97.

(Right?) Ankle Broken Rumble in the Bronx Injury sustained while jumping onto the 'moving' hovercraft from a bridge platform. JC continued with the film with a cast on. He wore a cast covering painted in likeness of a tennis shoe. Crazy? Of course. He even barefoot-waterskis with the cast on.
The broken ankle contributes to Rumble's "weak" ending.

Hair Singed/burnt Drunken Master II Jackie got some of his hair burnt...I believe it was in the coal factory. This could have happened when he fell on the coals or another related scene, I really don't know exactly. But they had to adjust to this by having a (slightly?) shorter hairstyle for later shootings.
Granted this is not a life threatening injury/incident but it wasn't in the script. So I thought I put it in the page.

Back? Cut/bruised? Police Story 3: Supercop I'm sure there was more than one injury in this film but he was hit by a passing helicopter while doing a moving locomotive stunt. There is footage of the accident in the ending credits.
I need to check out more details on the subject.

Head Cuts/lacerations Police Story II Jackie starts a stunt sequence by crossing a street by jumping on the top of moving buses. At the same time, he avoids the protuding signs and poles. He completes the stunt by diving through a glass plate advertisement. He gets a few cuts on the head by the broken glass.

Head Concussion, bleeding, etc. Armor of God I While performing a stunt where he jumps onto a nearby tree, JC missed a branch and fell (30ft?).
His head hit a rock and he almost died from the accident.
Interviewers are some of the few "lucky" people to feel the thimble-size scar in his head.
