This page describes how to setup Windows XP to connect to LavaNet.
- Click on the "Start" button
- Click on "Control Panel"
- Click on "Network and Internet Connections"
- If your Control Panel doesn't look similar to the picture above, Click on "Switch to Category View"
- Click on "Set up or change your Internet connection"
- Click on the "Setup" button and this will take you to the New Connection Wizard
- Select the "Connect to the Internet" option then click on the "Next" button
- Select the "Set up my connection manually" option then click on the "Next" button
- Select the "Connect using a dial-up modem" option then click on the "Next" button
- Type Lavanet for the "ISP Name"
- In the "Phone Number" field, type the number corresponding to your location and type of modem.
- For "User name:" enter the first part of your Lavanet email address (the part before the @lava.net).
- For "Password:" enter your Lavanet password.
- For "Confirm Password:" please re-enter your Lavanet password.
- Select "Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop"
- Click on the "Finish" button
