This page describes how to setup the TCP/IP settings in the Control Panel
- Click on the Apple Menu, then go to 'Control Panel', then go to 'TCP/IP'
- If you are using FreePPP as your dialer make sure that you select FreePPP in the 'Connect via:' menu at the top. If you are using Remote Access (aka Open Transport PPP) you will need to select PPP from the menu instead.
- For 'Configure' set it to 'Using PPP Server'
- For 'Name Server addr.:' enter these numbers:
- 64.65.64.1
- 64.65.64.65
- For 'Implict Search Path: Starting domain name:' enter: 'lava.net'
- Click on the 'Options...' button
- Select 'Active'
- Put an 'X' in the 'Load only when needed'
- Push the 'OK' button
- Also push the 'OK' button on the TCP/IP settings window to save the changes.
