The Fine Print

Staff Training October 19 - 23 2007

Starting at 1pm on Friday October 19th, LavaNet's offices will be closed
and we will have reduced staffing until Tuesday the 23rd.

As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure that our staff provides the best
service in Hawaii, we will be conducting a multi-day training session out
of the office. We will be focusing on new product and technical training.

Administrative and billing services will be closed during this period and
our technical support will be limited. Twice each day our team will
respond to email requests and check for emergency situations. Emergency
cell phone information will be posted on our support page the morning of
the 19th to ensure that if there are any urgent problem, we can still
address them.

DSL ATM conversions completed

LavaNet has completed the mandatory ATM conversion for all DSL users as
of September. This process started in February and we have since provided
420 ATM modems free of charge to our customers. We thank you for the
patience you had during this process.

Hawaiian Music streamed live over the internet from
Ala Moana Pakele Lounge, every Wednesday 6-8 PM HST

Starting in June 2007, LavaNet has provided the technical muscle to
provide live Hawaiian Music over the internet.

The Pakele Live series is a partnership between the Ala Moana Hotel,
LavaNet, and Aloha Video.tv and recently won the Keep It Hawaii Lehua
Maka Noe award in recognition of our commitment to perpetuate the
Hawaiian culture.

The series was designed to showcase the beauty and richness of Hawai'i
through its music, language, and hula. We've had viewers as close as the
neighbor islands to as far reaching as Japan, London, Australia and even
those serving our nation in Iraq.

Tune in this Wednesday night starting at 6pm HST. The live stream can be
accessed via our partner page at www.alohavideo.tv or:

LavaNet launches Maui community IPTV and video news website

LavaNet recently launched a new website that is focused on delivering
Maui specific news, entertainment, and information via the web. Stop by
the site and check it out at this URL:

http://mauitoday.tv/

Mauitoday.tv was developed entirely by LavaNet (www.lava.net) for a
customer who wanted to provide daily news, entertainment, and sports
updates for the Maui community and especially for visitors and former
residents of Maui.

As far as we know, this is the first Island specific news website that
has its own camera crew and reporting team. The software for the system
was developed by LavaNet and will be shared with upcoming sites for each
of the islands. The site was launched less than 1 month ago and is grow-
-ing fast as a community news outlet.

The site also features Maui businesses and personalities, including
interviews with Maui County officials and is updated several times each
day with current Maui news.

In addition, the site will be working closely with the Maui Community
College on video projects as well as a number of other Maui schools.
To help build out its community, Mauitoday.tv also welcomes video
submissions by viewers/users and will be launching a series of contests
as well.

Clearwire PCMCIA card available

LavaNet is now offering PCMCIA cards for Clearwire service. This new
alternative provides an even more mobile option for laptop users.
Clearwire is an excellent alternative to DSL or Cable services and is
available in many new areas. Check out the updated coverage area on our
website at:

http://lava.net/sales/wireless

With Clearwire, there is no need for phone line or cable tv service and
costs only $19.99 for the first 3 months! Also available with a car
adapter so you can be connected to the Internet at high speed while on
the road or at a remote location.

LavaNet customers that decide to switch to ClearWire for Internet access
can now opt to keep their LavaNet email addresses for only $1.00 a month.

Still not sure? We offer a free on-site trial, allowing you to try the
service before you sign up.
