Luis A. Manrique

[Luis] Dr. Luis A. Manrique holds a PhD in Agronomy and Soil Science from the University of Hawaii. Dr. Manrique has worked as a soil scientist and agronomist for the International Potato Center, Cornell University, University of Hawaii, and Texas A&M University. He has conducted extensive research on soil and agronomic aspects of tropical agriculture in South and Central America and the Pacific Basin. He has also been an adjunct professor in agriculture at Windward Community College . He is the author of more than fifty journal articles, various book chapters, and several reference books on potato, taro, cassava, sweet potato, and other tropical root crops.
