AG 32: Plant Disease & Pest Control
The main objective of this course is to provide the scientific basis to
prevent, diagnose, and control diseases and pests. Particular emphasis is given to address
differences between diseases in the absence of
infectious pathogens (physiological disorders, genetic abnormalities, and adverse environment)
and diseases in the presence of infectious pathogens. Proper and safe methods of handling
agricultural chemicals and pesticide application are reviewed.
AG 32 B: Plant Disease & Pest Control (1)
Prevention, recognition, and control of plant diseases. Topics include nutrient deficiency and
adverse environment, bacteria, virus, fungi, and nematodes.
AG 32 C: Plant Disease & Pest Control (1)
Prevention, recognition, and control of weeds in landscapes and nurseries in Hawaii.
AG 32 D: Plant Disease & Pest Control (1)
Prevention, recognition, and control of insects and other invertebrates found in landscapes and nurseries
in Hawaii.
